How I love my pets!

These are our family pets; Chipper the dog, Rudy the cat, and the chickens are not technically pets, I am not that fond of them with the exception of the one pictured here she is my favorite, but even then I am not altogether really fond of any of the chickens.

Loving Little Brothers

Sometimes loving ones siblings is easy. Other times that goes out the window. Today my brother who knows very well my fear of spiders (being called upon quite a bit to kill them for me) described to me in detail the enormity and resemblance to a brown recluse (a.k.a. poisonous and I'm terrified of them after the horror stories he told to me, same brother) that he found behind a sink this morning. He went on to tell that it was a larger than normal grass spider. I love him but sometimes they make it difficult, though they could say the same of me. No need to name names but this ones began with J. Need I go on?

Vegetables

Yesterday and today we are canning beans. Yippee. Not. And we also have to pickle cukes, and take care of hunormus (to borrow a phrase from Stephen) amounts of zucchini and summer squash.

Hello and welcome to my blog. First and foremost I am a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. Secondly I am a stay at home daughter and still being homeschooled by my parents.
